Saudi Arabia runs its 1st ad against domestic violence
National newspapers in Saudi Arabia ran the country's first major ad campaign against domestic violence, recognizing it is a problem that can no longer be kept in the dark. Saudi Arabia, which usually takes a backseat as far as women's rights are concerned, made waves when it published its first anti-domestic violence ad last month. The advertisement, which ran in national newspapers and showed a full-page picture of a woman in a burqa with a clearly visible black eye, ran with the powerful caption, "Some things can't be covered," and listed phone numbers for local domestic abuse shelters. Believing is seeing
We are all familiar with the expression, "I'll believe it when I see it", right? Have you ever considered that just the reverse is actually true? Rather than waiting for a 'result' or 'desire' or 'wish' to suddenly show up, convincing you that it's reality, quantum physics is proving that we must first 'believe' or 'envision' something before it can appear. I am bringing this up after my interview with Laurie Beck ("I Am Living to Tell") yesterday (March 4th). Laurie was diagnosed with stage three non-hodgkins lymphoma in 2006 and basically told it was "incurable" by more than one physician she consulted. This "let's forego any medical treatment and see what happens" was just the glimmer of hope that Laurie needed to blow open her previoiusly closed reality about healing and offered her the key to opening a doorway that would eventually led to complete healing from the disease. Laurie shifted from 'waiting to see change in her body' to 'believing the change had already taken place.' Statements such as, "I am healed" rather than, "I am getting better" became the norm for Laurie. For many years I have interviewed various experts, in a wide variety of fields who have all proposed the same concept. Namely, we ARE what we think, and that our thoughts DO BECOME OUR REALITIES. How powerful is this! What an incredible gift...

I'm drifting weightlessly through gorgeous star and galaxies and I feel a Divine Presence, a kind, loving, beneficent presence, twinkling all around me. Death isn't as serious as you think it is.
