All around the world people continue to believe in, be frightened by and be fascinated by ghosts. In recent years many television shows have focused entirely on ghost hunting, and helping people solve the mysteries of paranormal activity. Today host Catherine Bradford welcomes founder of the Paranormal League of America, Dave Galvan to the show. Dave has been actively investigating paranormal events in the Pacific Northwest since 2002.

Dave Galvan founded the Paranormal League of America in 2008 after years in the paranormal field. After having a book thrown at him in 2002 by someone who wasn’t there, Dave entered the field with wide-eyed enthusiasm, and even a certain naivete. Quickly learning the tricks of the trade from a European Demonologist, as well as local people in his native Oregon, Dave absorbed everything he could in the field, joining groups to further his knowledge in the paranormal.

Upon forming the PLA, Dave started focusing on local paranormal cases. He has battled a demon at the Oregon Coast, faced laughing ghosts in Central Oregon, chased obscure energy signals in a house in Portland, was stalked by a full figured apparition at a local cemetery and sat in the mud while waiting for the ghost of an Native American chief. He has also heard his name called by disembodied spirits, been touched by supernatural forces, and had his life threatened via EVP. A former writer in the comic book field, Dave also enjoys writing about the Paranormal.

 His book, Paranormal League of America Presents: Researching America’s Most Haunted Locations; A Paranormal History, is his first.

He works occasionally for the Paranormal Underground, an online paranormal magazine.
