Creating the Flow, and then going with it

August 10, 2011

As many of you know, these past several months I have been swept away by the enormous task of selling my home in Seattle, packing and relocating to the So. California area. It had been nearly sixteen years since I had done such a major move and it was everything I expected it to be.......intense, laborious, time consuming and demanding. Being the solo head of household all decisions required for completing such a move fell entirely upon my shoulders. I welcomed the weight, and knew that I had the skillset to accomplish all details. What I hadn't anticipated, however, was the physical toll being completely 'in charge' would have on me. Sometime shortly after I began this adventure I knew it would required great focus and concentration. My multitasking skills were put to the test, to say the least, and my need for exact organization was paramount to the success of our project.

As I near the end of this particular chapter in my life, I reflect back on what these past five months have offered me in the way of life lessons. I am always open to learning, and find that I do a great job of creating my 'issues' and obstacles when I stand in the space of always thinking I am right or have the exact answer or solution. Learning to trust and go with the flow is such an important tool.

What is important to see is that we are truly blessed by being the master designers of our plan, and whether we choose to believe it or not, we design each and every step of the way. Being open to accept what comes our way is not always an easy thing to do. We often fight outcomes, or push against perceptions that rise off our our 'old' ideas and habits.

Learning to be open to the flow and accept new building materials is a great gift. If we allow ourselves the freedom to trust that we are resourceful, we have zillions of past experiences that have helped make us who we are presently, and believe that our truest destiny is constantly right along side us, leads us into living peacefully in the present.
Living with these beliefs today can't help but guide us into even better tomorrows.

As I continue to work hard, in the final stages of my move, I welcome the reward that all these months of hard work have offered me. I am here, in my new town, happy, healthy and ready to continue life's journey.

08/31 - Catherine Bradford, HOST
Radio Worth Waiting For!

Hello everyone! Well, as much as I had wanted to begin broadcasting The Catherine Bradford Show as soon as July 16th on LA Talk Radio, it appears that we are all going to have to wait for that DEBUT SHOW. Over this past week circumstances (family matters) have created the need for me to postpone my opening show from airing, and so, we will all have to wait. I am hoping to have made it to the other side of these events within a short period of time, but until then, I am asking for your patience.  In the meantime, while taking this short and temporary hiatus from being on air live, I want to invite you to keep c...
